About
Lesothosaurus
A tiny cat-sized dinosaur by the name of Lesothosaurus lived around 210 million years ago, in Africa and South America. Some Paleontologists, or dinosaur experts believe that Lesothosaurus was the ancestor of many later bird-footed dinosaurs such as Iguanodon.
A bird-footed dinosaur is a dinosaur with hind-legs that resemble those of modern-day birds. Many scientists believe that birds actually evolved from dinosaurs.
Lesothosaurus had long hind legs, and short stubby front arm-like legs. It is believed that this dinosaur was a very fast runner.
